Flight Disruptions caused by Volcanic Ash Cloud (April 15-22)
Geneva and Zurich airport returned to normal operation on April 22. Cancellations by operators as a consequence of airspace closures and/or restrictions will be treated by EUACA coordinators in accordance with Article 10(4)(a) of Regulation 95/93 and will therefore not be counted for the 80/20 calculation at the end of the season.

Slot Coordination Switzerland provides a coordination service from 0800 to 1700 CET on weekdays only (excluding Public Holidays). Registered OCS customers will have 24 hours access to their slot portfolio. GA/BA aviation flights see here.
SCR's received are automatically processed and confirmed with a reply by our EDP system if...
- Message is correctly formatted (according to IATA SSIM manual chapter 6 standards) and in transit/turnaround format
- Data for flights to be changed/deleted does correspond with our coordinated data held
- Requested times are within airport's opening hours for slot allocation (see also Restrictions and Local Rules)
- Relevant airport capacity is available
