Restrictions Geneva
The following restrictions and local rules are applicable in Switzerland:
Night Ban Regulation in Switzerland
- Departures are prohibited from 2400-0600CET
- Arrivals are prohibited from 2400-0500CET
Night Restriction in Switzerland
- Departures are possible under certain conditions (e.g. noise index) from 2200-2400CET
- Arrivals are possible under certain conditions (e.g. noise index) from 2200-2400CET and from 0500-0600CET

General Restrictions and Local Rules
- Curfew for ICAO noise rule chapter 1 and 2 aircrafts
- Airlines operating for the first time to Switzerland will have to send a copy of their IATA 2-letter or ICAO 3-letter code certificate well in advance to the respective coordination office
The following restrictions and local rules are applicable for slot allocation at Geneva airport:
Night curfew for slot allocation
- Arrivals: 2400-0604CET

Others
- Parking layovers of more than 3 hours and upgrade to widebody aircraft with prior approval by Airport Authority only
- During annual Geneva Motor Show (March) and annual EBACE exhibition (May) max. 2 hours parking allowed
